Club Amenities - St. Charles Country Club

St. Charles Country Club is a full service private club that features an 18-hole parkland golf course, tennis facilities, outdoor pool and beautiful dining venues including a beautiful patio. Whatever your recreational and social desires, SCCC has something to offer. St. Charles Country Club has become west suburban Chicago’s most attractive club, featuring an atmosphere of quiet elegance and level of personal service that rank second to none.

Golf

Situated amid 140 acres of magnificent rolling hills and home to immaculately manicured greens, our championship 18-hole course measures 6,926 from the back and 5,551 from the forward tees. SCCC is a full-service golf facility with a pro shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a driving range, putting green and a friendly staff of teaching professionals who offer expert instruction.

The championship course has hosted a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier, won by professional golfer Steve Stricker and, more recently, the 86th Illinois State Amateur Championship.

Dining

Dining at St. Charles Country Club ranges from casual to elegant, with a choice of the veranda overlooking the golf course, Old Club Pub, 19th Hole, newly renovated patio, Fox Chase and Charlemagne rooms. Members rave about the menus prepared by our Executive Chef which rival those of any top-rated establishment. Menus are updated periodically, but some standbys remain per the request of many of our members.

Our sommelier can assist with a selection from our extensive wine list to pair with your meal. Fine dining is standard at St. Charles Country Club.

Club Social Events

A very notable facet of our Club is the ability to enjoy member social events. Throughout the year, SCCC extends invitations to over 20 social events, among them March Madness BagToss Tournament, Easter Brunch, Trivia Nights, Fourth of July Picnic With Fireworks, Halloween Party With Haunted House, Santa Brunch, Holiday Party and the unique Kitchen Closing Party on December 31st. In addition, we host a number of wine tasting events and music on the patio is offered on Thursdays during the summer. The Club has members in all age groups, thus you can develop friendships with those of similar interests. Bring your family - and your guests are welcome.

Tennis

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Club's tennis program caters to all players - novice to accomplished. We offer lessons, drills, match play and social events in our tennis facility. Programs include junior tennis from ages 4 through high school, each targeted to ability level; women's open tennis and leagues; and men's programs including the SCCC Tennis Championship. Guests are welcome to our member-guest events. The Social Sports membership includes access to the tennis program, as well as the pool and dining privileges.

Swimming

The outdoor swimming pool is great to swim laps for exercise, participate in meets with other clubs, or simply spend a few hours to relax. Of course all kids like the water, and we have an 18 inch kiddie pool for the little ones. We offer various swimming lesson programs, and our SCCC team participates with other clubs in the area. Our pool deck is staffed with attentive servers to deliver a cool drink, snack or lunch. The Cabana and Bar complete the poolside experience.
